Job summary
Onward Search in Spring, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to manage mechanical and electrical upkeep of several wash locations, perform repairs, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
You will order parts, respond to emergencies, and document activities using a CMMS or spreadsheets. Must have 5+ years in industrial/commercial maintenance; ability to lift 50 lbs; experience with 480V and PLC troubleshooting; welding a plus. Competitive full-time role with company vehicle and tools provided.
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or GED.
- Five or more years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
- Experience with 480-volt electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting; welding is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical and electrical upkeep of multiple wash locations, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs and projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Order parts and maintain stock levels for ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns with effective repairs.
- Record maintenance activities and repairs using a computerized management system or spreadsheets.
