The Maintenance Mechanic V - HVAC/Plumbing position at ACE is available for the 2025-2026 school year. It is a Level 5, 8 hours per day, 249 days per year position. Work hours are first shift, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with altered hours and extra time as needed and approved. Minimum pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Required skills: High school diploma required. Possesses Class C driver's license and has had no repeated motor vehicle violations for the previous three years. Performs accurate computations, reads, writes, and correctly interprets written directions.

Knowledge and ability to perform job function: Demonstrates working knowledge of two or more of the following trade skills to be used in the repair of the following: heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, and/or plumbing. Demonstrates working knowledge of various tools and hazardous chemicals of the trade. Works outside in all types of conditions with potential exposure to dirt, grease, noise, heat, etc. Performs work from ladders/scaffolding at working heights up to 40 feet and lifts equipment or materials weighing up to 110 pounds.
