Job summary
Dane County Regional Airport seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for the second shift, with 1.0 FTE. Work hours are 1:30 pm to 12:00 am on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Undesirable Hours Premium Pay applies for late shifts and weekends.
You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems with a focus on reliability and safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and five years of experience in large HVAC/mechanical systems, plus CDL Class A with N
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma and five years of experience in the construction or maintenance of large commercial HVAC and mechanical systems and building automation systems.
- Must have or be able to obtain a CDL Class A with N endorsement within six months.
- Candidates must pass background checks, drug/alcohol testing and related pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance and repair on airport terminal HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Operate light/heavy equipment and supervise a small crew if needed.
- Maintain and repair building automation, control systems and related safety equipment.
