Job summary

Mauser-Packaging-Solutions in North Carolina is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician who will lead safety practices and oversee preventive maintenance to keep production lines running. You will diagnose equipment failures, implement repairs, coordinate parts and resources, and work with other departments to minimize downtime while upholding HSE standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with high-speed automation, welding, and electrical systems, plus strong planning and documentation

Qualifications

• Three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician.
• Knowledge of high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.
• Able to use MIG and ARC welders.
• Experience ordering parts and maintaining maintenance inventory.
• Knowledge of automation, PLC, instrumentation, and robotics.
• Experience with facility maintenance and plant equipment.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Safety-oriented approach and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to safety and environmental rules.
• Lead and coach employees to achieve maintenance goals and productivity.
• Participate in safety investigations as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify root causes and initiate remedial action.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment to improve production reliability.
• Execute daily and weekly work schedules to meet deadlines.
• Analyze delay codes to reduce downtime and improve scheduling.
• Ensure preventative maintenance compliance and proper documentation.
• Assist in sourcing maintenance supplies within budget.
• Use KPIs to improve maintenance execution and schedule adherence.
• Apply current policies, H&S programs, and security guidelines in daily operations.
