Job summary

Clio Snacks is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain production equipment on site in New Jersey. You will respond to unplanned work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and help push continuous improvement to reduce faults.

The role requires 5+ years of factory maintenance experience, knowledge of 480V 3-phase and 240- to 24-volt systems, and welding skills. Prior experience with VFDs and cGMP compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years repairing and troubleshooting production equipment.
• At least 3–5 years experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial facility.
• Knowledge of electrical systems using 480-volt 3 phase and 240-volt through 24-volt single phase.
• Experience with variable frequency drives.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment during factory runtime and downtime.
• Respond to unplanned work orders to bring equipment back to production safely and quickly.
• Close out unplanned work orders with clear descriptions and follow-ups.
• Inspect equipment for wear, fatigue and damage.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts and equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Maintain standard running conditions and repair failed components.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
