Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a maintenance mechanic for evening shift in Monroe, NJ. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and set up new equipment.

The role requires reading schematics, operating heavy machinery, and adhering to safety procedures. Qualified candidates have at least two years of experience, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to use precision tools.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a mechanic in similar environment.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and understand fluid power schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Competent in tubing and piping work and basic electrical systems.
• Must operate Berry forklift and other power industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic malfunctions.
• Set up and assemble new equipment.
• Inspect equipment for leaks or problems and report to supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist with other duties as assigned.
