Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 3+ years of mechanical, maintenance, or related experience preferred (commercial or retail experience a plus).
• Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic techniques.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• 3+ years experience in the electrical trade.
• Able to work well on a team.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on store equipment, including refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and food service equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement timely, effective solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components as needed.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
• Install, replace, and test mechanical components and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and parts inventory.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
• Support general facility maintenance tasks as needed.
