The role troubleshoots mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, interprets blueprints, and supports preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on maintenance and control systems experience.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain milling machines, lathes, presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and safety system issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Inspect, calibrate, and verify machine performance using precision measuring instruments.
• Assist with troubleshooting Dorst press systems including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Collaborate with electricians, maintenance personnel, operators, setup personnel, and utility personnel to restore and optimize equipment performance.
• Train, mentor, and support maintenance mechanics in lower classifications.
• Utilize technical resources and training materials to remain current on equipment, technologies, and repair methods.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on production and facility equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.
• Record maintenance activities and repair information within CMMS.
