Transcendia, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery and equipment including engines, motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulics. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and implement improvements to meet OEM standards.

The role requires reading mechanical diagrams, basic math, and safe working practices, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Welding/Cutting a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic mechanical diagrams.
• Perform math calculations including fractions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Read tape measure and micrometer accurately.
• Maintain safety procedures and LOTO compliance.

Responsabilités

• Locate sources of problems by observing equipment operation.
• Perform routine PMs, repairs, rebuilds and modifications.
• Assist colleagues in troubleshooting and rapid maintenance.
• Inspect parts for finish and detect imperfections.
• Repair or replace defective parts per procedures.
• Start equipment to test performance.
