Job summary

Tapecon, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum uptime of production equipment. You will construct, install, repair and adjust fixtures and systems, monitor preventive maintenance, and maintain logs and spare parts inventory.

Your work supports facility infrastructure including electrical, plumbing and air systems. You will coordinate with contractors, train operators for routine maintenance, and keep accurate records while maintaining a safe, efficient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–5 years related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Identify malfunctions by observing operation and dismantle equipment as needed.
• Repair, adjust and install mechanical and electrical components.
• Coordinate with contractors for major repairs and projects.
• Train operators on daily/weekly/monthly maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory control.
