Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for our food manufacturing environment. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with management to keep packaging lines running efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical and electrical skills, PLC experience, and familiarity with CMMS. Shift is 2:00pm–11:00pm; safety PPE required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Strong mechanical background with high-speed packaging equipment.
• Experience with PLCs and process controls.
• Food/confections manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Fabricate parts using welding and machining techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory.
• Supervise and train junior maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with Plant PM program and adjust PMs as needed.
