Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a maintenance technician to maintain and repair plant equipment at its Maryland facility. You will perform mechanical and electrical work, support conveyor systems, and assist in installing new equipment to ensure safe, efficient production.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years in manufacturing maintenance, strong electrical knowledge, and familiarity with PLCs and 480V motors. Overtime may be required; the role offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong electrical background required, familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers and 480V motors.
• Experience with performing preventative maintenance and repairs to conveyor systems.
• Must have basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Repair and adjust machinery; dismantle components to replace defective parts.
• Operate shop tools and equipment within skill level.
• Assist in installation of new plant equipment.
• Maintain production equipment for uptime and safe operation.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams for maintenance tasks.
• Support safety programs and site housekeeping.
