Balchem Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform and coordinate preventive maintenance at our Utah facilities. You will work with production teams and contractors to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical repair skills, knowledge of PLCs, HVAC and boiler operations, and the ability to implement a robust preventive maintenance program. On-call support and adherence to GMP/ISO standards are expected.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic test equipment; mechanical and production equipment repair; plumbing; use of power and basic hand tools; HVAC; welding (stainless steel).
• Boiler operations certification preferred and knowledge of OSHA regulations and Programmable Logic Controller Skills.

Mansioni

• Work with production associates and supervisors to improve efficiencies.
• Perform regular checks on production equipment.
• Lubricate and check all motors daily or as required.
• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Coordinate and be available for on-call maintenance during production hours.
• Maintain inventory levels of parts and equipment; order parts after pricing review.
• Assist in problem diagnosis; confer with contractors and sales reps as needed.
• Be an available resource for facility remodeling projects.
