Job summary

Vie-Del is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose and repair plant equipment, systems, and machines. You will maintain production and support equipment including pumps, pasteurizers, boilers, compressors, and refrigeration systems.

The role requires 480-volt electrical experience, welding (MIG/TIG), fabrication, and at least two years of relevant experience. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver license, and be able to work all shifts, OT, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires two(2) years of working experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.
• Must have 480-volt, 3-phase electrical experience.
• Troubleshooting 3-phase motor starters and motor control circuits.
• Welding experience; MIG & TIG.
• Fabrication experience is required; a Fabricator Journeyman is strongly preferred.
• Machine shop & pump repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions of plant equipment, systems, and machines.
• Maintain and repair production equipment: pumps, pasteurizers, high-pressure pumps, evaporators, stills, valves.
• Maintain and repair support equipment: boiler, air-compressor, ammonia compressors, thermal storage units, condensers, vacuum pumps, ammonia refrigeration systems, AC units, meters.
• Handle chemicals for support equipment operation.
• Fabricate and manufacture equipment for production needs.
