Job summary

OSI Careers is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to proactively maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. The role involves installing and servicing equipment, performing scheduled tasks, and keeping a clean, hazard-free work area while complying with safety and GMP requirements.

Ideal candidates have mechanical or electrical knowledge, basic reading of technical drawings, and comfort with tools and computer-based communications.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical/technical drawings.
• Computer/technology aptitude to update work communications and use equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist to install and service equipment using required hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Move and raise components using hoists, dollies, or other equipment.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment; keep parts organized.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free work area and follow safety procedures.
• Follow safety, environment, and GMP requirements; adhere to equipment manuals.
