Job summary

OSI Group in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to proactively maintain operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. You will install and service equipment using hand tools, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and keep a clean, hazard-free work area.

The role requires mechanical and electrical basics, ability to read mechanical drawings, and comfort with heights and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Basic welding knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist to install and service equipment using hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Move and raise components with hoists or dollies.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and parts inventory.
• Keep a clean, hazard-free work area at all times.
• Follow safety and GMP guidelines and complete job orders.
