Job summary

Jobot is seeking Maintenance Technicians for our industrial manufacturing facility in Connecticut. This role covers installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems to maximise uptime, safety, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has electro-mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and can work day or night shifts with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/voc training preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment, automation, or high-speed lines.
• Experience with sheet metal/transfer press machinery preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking.
• Forklift and/or crane certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery.
• Maintain and repair equipment including: compressors, engines, motors, pneumatic tools and systems, conveyors, cranes, and forklifts.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they occur.
• Respond quickly to equipment downtime and perform root cause analysis to minimize recurrence.
• Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols, including working with high-voltage battery manufacturing systems and hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities preferred
• Forklift and/or crane certification is a plus
