Purestar-Group in Ardmore, OK is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our commercial laundry facility. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining industrial washers, dryers, boilers, conveyors, and related equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.

You will diagnose, rebuild and repair machinery, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and ensure safety compliance. Requires a high school diploma or trade schooling and at least 3 years in a large facility; shifts may include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade/vocational training required.
• 3 years’ experience as a maintenance technician in a large facility.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and PLCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment; perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints and maintain records/reports.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Position Summary:

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Major Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment, perform inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare and maintains records and reports.
• Must possess a variety of experience and in-depth knowledge in areas such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, Industrial Controls, PLC ladder logic, plumbing, HVAC, welding, Strong mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, gears, bearings, lubricants, etc. Knowledge and ability to read blueprints,
• Excellent problem-solving skills, Ability to work any shift, excellent attendance, able to physically walk, crawl, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., bend and squat to perform normal maintenance work.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

• Able to respond to basic verbal commands.
• Effectively follow directions.
• Organized
• Multi-lingual a plus

Computer / Technical Skills/ Job Specific Skills:

• High school diploma --skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a large sized facility in a maintenance capacity.

Work Hours:

• Must be available to work morning and or overnight shift.
• May include working on the weekends or during Holidays.

Physical / Mental Requirements:

• May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels.
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Must be able to stand for 8n hour shifts
• Able to push or pull carts weighing several hundred pounds
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand on feet and work in hot temperatures for several hours
