Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS), a division of The Donohoe Companies, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Fairfax, VA. The role covers maintenance, repair, and operation of commercial office and healthcare facilities, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose cross-trade issues, and ensure safety and code compliance. Building Automation via Siemens Desigo BAS, and CMMS work orders are part of daily duties; lifting 50+ lbs

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance, commercial plumbing, or commercial HVAC.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical, and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (Siemens Desigo BAS preferred).
• Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proactive, safety-conscious, able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues across trades.
• Maintain logs of work orders and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Interact with BMS/BAS and monitor alarms remotely.
• Ensure safe and code-compliant facilities.
