Role Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Maintenance Manager and maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs printing presses, molding machines, and support equipment. Responsibilities include training operators, on-call support, and ensuring equipment operates at optimal speed and condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure machines are NSF and OSHA compliant.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and overhaul maintenance.
• Attend training courses as needed.
• Maintain accurate spare parts inventory.
• Support print and mold operations as needed.
• Work closely with team members and be on call 24/7.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Successful background check and drug screening.
• Ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations.
• High School diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance/production environment.
• Electrical experience with 480V 3-phase/machine controls preferred.
• Experience with VFD Drives, PLCs, and manufacturing methods preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and knowledge of OSHA and GMP standards.
