North Coast Container in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic on a full-time, hourly basis. The role offers first or second shifts with pay ranging from $36-$45 per hour.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility systems across steel drum lines to keep operations safe and reliable. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting, basic electrical knowledge, welding skills,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical systems (motors, controls, sensors).
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/stick).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Solid safety record with LOTO and OSHA compliance.
• Own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues.
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, gearboxes and pumps.
• Weld, fabricate and machine parts as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics; support installs and upgrades.
• Respond quickly to downtime and help get lines back up.
• Keep maintenance records and work orders up to date.
• Follow safety rules including lockout/tagout procedures.
