Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; OR 1–3 months related experience or training; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Blueprint reading skills to interpret specifications and other standard schematics.
• Material identification skills to quickly and accurately recognize different materials.
• Physical capability to regularly lift 25–50 pounds.
• Regulatory certification to successfully pass a Hazmat exam.
• Core professional competencies including integrity, self-motivation, teamwork, and prioritization/time-management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery operation by completing maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
• Interpret technical data by reading, analyzing, and reviewing service manuals, technical procedures, and work orders.
• Utilize specialized tools including a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain safety standards by strictly following required work-safe practices, including lock-out/tag-out requirements and wearing all required PPE in safety-sensitive designated areas.
