Hilmar Cheese Company in Dodge City, KS is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep dairy plant equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform corrective maintenance, complete preventive tasks, and document maintenance history to support uptime.

The role requires 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience or a technical program, English proficiency, ability to lift 60 lbs, and willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts; familiarity with basic hand tools and MS Office is

Qualifications

Proficient in reading and writing English.
1 year industrial manufacturing experience OR completion of a technical program.
Competent knowledge of basic hand tools.
Ability to verbalize troubleshooting methods.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsabilités

Use basic power tools, welding tools, forklift, articulating booms to complete projects.
Read blueprints and perform layout work/sketches.
Use plasma cutter for various projects.
Timely analysis and repair of breakdowns with troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot and wire a 3-phase motor.
Troubleshoot and repair control wiring (110v/24v).
Rebuild centrifugal and PD pumps.
Ensure safety procedures per policy.
Collaborate with operators to maintain equipment uptime.
Participate in training and buddy programs.
