Qualifications

• English skills proficiency to understand, read, write and speak English.
• 1 year industrial manufacturing experience OR completion of a technical program.
• Competent knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to verbalize troubleshooting methods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts; lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Use basic power tools, welding tools, forklift, articulating booms to complete projects.
• Read blueprints and do layout work / sketches.
• Use plasma cutter for various projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps and plant equipment; analyze breakdowns.
• Ensure safety procedures follow Hilmar Cheese Company policies.
• Demonstrate teamwork with operators and coach teammates as needed.
• Participate in safety teams and training activities.
