Job summary

RRD is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Smyrna, TN to maintain production equipment and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. The role involves repairing dies, presses, bindery systems and related machinery, plus fabricating parts using welders and shop tools as required.

Candidates should have a High School diploma and 4–5 years of related experience, with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Windows-based PC applications. Overtime and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with mechanical/electronic coursework preferred.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AC/DC electrical troubleshooting and multimeter use.
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs.
• Experience driving and using fabrication tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Repair and maintain machinery such as die cutters, presses, inserting machines, conveyors, and bindery equipment per specs.
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools as needed.
