State of New Hampshire is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for the Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services at State Armory - Franklin, NH. The role performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair and modification of buildings and equipment, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and masonry tasks.

Work involves snow removal, grounds care, routine custodial duties, and readiness for emergencies as Essential Personnel.

Competenze

Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
Education/experience must be in carpentry, electricity, painting, plumbing or related trades.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must pass a State Police NAC/CAC requirement and be eligible for renewal.

Mansioni

Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair and modification of state facilities and equipment.
Operate and maintain electrical, plumbing, carpentry and masonry tasks as needed.
Assist in snow removal, grounds maintenance, and cleaning of facilities.
Ensure safety and readiness for emergencies as Essential Personnel.
