Job summary

Plascore, Inc. in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II in our Metals division for 3rd shift (10:30 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday). This role ensures plant equipment is maintained, builds and rebuilds equipment, and handles general building and site maintenance.

We are open to a consistent schedule 2:30 PM to 6:30 AM and 4/10 hours; the job offers strong benefits including health coverage, 401(k) and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of progressively more responsible maintenance experience.
• Electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment in the Business unit.
• Keep equipment in safe operating condition and perform preventive maintenance.
• Install new equipment as required and fabricate fixtures as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical problems, motors, relays, and similar components.
• Make purchase requisitions for repair parts and replacement stock items.
• Maintain records of repairs and work independently with minimal supervision.
