Join us as our Maintenance Mechanic II

This position works under general supervision and is primarily responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment and machinery. Assist with maintenance of building facilities as requested by management. This role is on the 2nd shift, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the condition of production and facility equipment per state regulations.
• Ensuring optimal operation of all production equipment and machinery by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing issues promptly.
• Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing building systems such as lighting, HVAC, wastewater systems, steam, compressed air, water systems, electrical, foam systems, and other similar systems throughout the facility.
• Completing all required logs and paperwork accurately.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications needed:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic mathematical skills, including metric conversions.
• Knowledge of boiler fundamentals, HVAC operations, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret building diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with computers and basic controls for equipment operation.
• Experience with basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench).
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers.
• Membership in the First Aid Team/Safety Committee and Fire Protection Monitor is required.
• Valid driver's license and forklift license required.
• Travel may be up to 25% of the time.
• Typically acquired through a high school diploma or GED, a one-year technical certificate, and 1-3 years of related experience.
