Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience or completion of a relevant technical trade school program.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety protocols, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
• Good mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machinery maintenance.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues across equipment including motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
• Disassemble devices to access and replace defective parts; inspect wear.
• Adjust mechanical components and control instruments.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and install new components as needed.
• Lubricate and clean mechanical components to maintain functionality.

A leading supplement manufacturer is currently seeking a talented Maintenance Mechanic II to join the team and ensure the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment at our Commerce, CA facility.

Maintenance Mechanic II Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues across a wide range of equipment, including motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
• Disassemble devices to access and replace defective parts; inspect parts for wear and tear.
• Adjust mechanical components and control instruments.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, and install new structural or functional components as needed.
• Lubricate and clean mechanical components to maintain their functionality.
• Conduct tests on repaired machinery to ensure devices operate correctly after maintenance.
• Initiates purchase orders for necessary replacement parts and equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs using test equipment to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures during all maintenance and repair activities.

Maintenance Mechanic II Requirements:
