Purpose

Perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and installation of equipment under close supervision to minimize disruptions of site operations.

Core Responsibilities

1. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of production and facility equipment, proactively resolving recurring issues.
2. Conduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation, and controls.
3. Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with SOPs.
4. Work in accordance with relevant requirements including ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and safety guidelines.
5. Participate in lean activities.
6. Maintain housekeeping, sanitation, food safety, and safety standards.
7. Perform administrative duties such as creating and closing work requests in SAP.
8. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Academic Background

• Vocational diploma in Technical Engineering or related discipline.

Professional Experience

• 3 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and equipment for electronic, pneumatic, and electrical device installation, disassembly, and testing.
• Good mechanical and/or electrical skills, including welding, plumbing, pipefitting, or electrical work.
