Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited electromechanical associate degree or equivalent schooling/experience.
• Successful completion of ACT Work Keys Assessments at minimum requirements.
• Completion of mechanical aptitude testing at minimum requirement.
• Possess mechanical, machinist, or electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts equipment as needed.
• Performs equipment changeovers according to production demands.
• Provides preventative maintenance to plant equipment.
• Rebuilds presses and support equipment.
• Evaluates/maintains hand tools for condition and compliance.
• Familiar with Mechanical Prints, knowledge of motors and controls, troubleshooting skills.
• PLC programming is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
• Continuous improvement of skills as outlined by the maintenance training matrix.
• Effective communication skills including the ability to receive and follow direction and provide feedback as requested; as well as with other maintenance employees.
• Works cooperatively with teammate as a natural work team.
• Work schedule is 40-48 hours/week plus overtime requirements.
• Carry out additional duties as requested by supervisor.
• Accurate documentation of maintenance records using CMMS System.
