Qualifications

• Successful completion of PCC's Maintenance Helper program after one to two years.
• One to two years of experience in Journey Maintenance skill sets: HVAC, auto, carpentry, plumbing, sheet metal, machining or welding.
• Valid driver's license; may be required to drive PCC vehicles.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow specifications in Technical Cards, manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities to keep manufacturing and facilities running efficiently.
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, induction and arc melting, lubrication, abrasive and pressure cleaning systems.
• Maintain machine tools and equipment used for maintenance.
• Complete logs and records.
• Participate in Hazardous Materials Spill Response team (voluntary).
