Job summary

A leading baked goods manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficiency of plant equipment. Key responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and using advanced techniques for repairs. Candidates should have strong electrical knowledge, preferable PLC/controls experience, and be skilled in TIG welding. Must be able to lift heavy objects and complete necessary safety training. This position is based in Traverse City, Michigan.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant company experience.
• Able to diagnose and repair/install hydraulic components/systems.
• Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant operating equipment.
• Operate conveyors, packaging equipment, and other machinery.
• Respond to troubleshoot complex operating equipment failures.
