Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other aggregate processing equipment at our quarry and plant sites.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, reading manuals and diagrams, and applying welding/cutting techniques. Safety, reliability, and collaboration are essential to support production goals and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, welding, cutting, or fabrication techniques applicable to plant equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and operational excellence.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other aggregate processing equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues to maximize equipment uptime and plant performance.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support safe and efficient quarry and plant operations through timely equipment maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all company safety procedures.
