Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to perform hands-on maintenance and repair of quarry plant equipment in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. This role involves troubleshooting conveyors, crushers, screens, and fixed plant systems to ensure continuous operation.

You will conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair and modify equipment, and you will execute preventive maintenance inspections while following strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance within quarry/mining/heavy industrial settings.
• Strong welding, cutting and metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and implement practical mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of quarry plant equipment to support safe, continuous operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues involving conveyors, crushers, screens, and fixed plant systems.
• Execute welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to repair and modify equipment and structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and complete corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams while following all safety standards.
