Job summary

Medxcel is seeking a facilities technician to join St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. This 2nd shift, full-time role will maintain and repair mechanical systems across the facility, from HVAC and motors to plumbing and electrical equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and may handle cross-departmental tasks. The position requires a trade school graduate with about two years of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and work history.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• Graduate of trade school.
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
• Knowledge of locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
• May be assigned more complex assignments that include multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction to complete the maintenance or repair.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems are required to perform a variety of duties.
• Repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, ventilation systems and equipment.
• Installation and maintenance of motors and of specialized equipment.
