Medxcel is seeking an experienced maintenance professional in Birmingham, AL to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diverse facility systems. The role supports healthcare facilities operations with focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Requirements include a trade school graduate with 2+ years of related maintenance experience. The position is full-time, day shift, onsite at 119 Health and Wellness in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
• May be assigned more complex assignments that include multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction to complete the maintenance or repair.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems are required to perform a variety of duties.
• Repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, ventilation systems and equipment.
• Installation and maintenance of motors and of specialized equipment.
