Overview: A Maintenance Mechanic I is a skilled worker responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment across various industries, requiring a higher level of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery, production equipment, utilities systems, and more.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Repair and Replacement: Repair, adjust, and replace faulty components such as motors, pumps, bearings, belts, gears, sensors, and wiring.
• Welding and Fabrication: Use welding and fabrication skills for equipment repairs or modifications.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Training: Guide and train less experienced maintenance staff.
