Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I in Dodge City, KS to support safe, reliable plant operations. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and document work using CMMS.

The role requires physical work, on-site presence, and willingness to work 2nd shift, weekends, and holidays. Ideal candidates will have at least six months of maintenance experience or a related certification, ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic precision tools to complete maintenance tasks.
• Read and follow work instructions, schematics, manuals, and safety procedures.
• Document completed work and equipment conditions using a computerized maintenance system.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
