Responsibilities

• Make checks of all mechanical area equipment and log in same.
• Handle maintenance calls from the main office.
• Maintain records as required.
• Operate and test emergency generators with electricians.
• Maintain and repair distribution systems involving vacuum, medical air, medical gas systems and air compressors.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs.
• Change air filters in large air handling equipment and clean/paint mechanical areas.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.
