The role requires cross-trade expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and boiler operations. Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, plus journeyman-level credentials and relevant licenses; Refrigerant Recovery certification is required for HVAC.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited technical training or school program.
• Journeyman-level credential or equivalent in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc., with Stationary Engineer license where required.
• HVAC Refrigerant Recovery certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, operate, repair and maintain hospital facilities and mechanical systems per schedule.
• Monitor and test HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and boiler operations; diagnose malfunctions and ensure systems run properly.
• Perform safety procedures; conduct regulatory checks and audits; prepare materials and coordinate with other trades.
