Ergon is seeking a Mechanic for a contract position with a logistics/trucking operation in Houston, TX, reporting to the Shop Foreman. The role focuses on maintaining tractors and trailers and performing inspections to keep equipment safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include safe shop practices, adherence to schedules, and readiness for on-call and overtime as needed. Experience with diesel engines preferred.

Qualifications

• Air brake certification preferred.

Desirable

Desired: Tank experience; CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements; Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems.
