Job summary

RRD has immediate openings for seasoned Maintenance Mechanics to work in our Durham, NC facility. Must be able to work a 2,2,3 day shift, 6:45am - 7:00pm OR 6:45pm-7:00am.

The role focuses on maintaining a high-speed trading card packaging line featuring Longford friction card feeders, a Syntegon DO-DIY wrapper, and a Shanklin shrink wrapper. Maintenance technicians need a blend of mechanical, electrical, automation, and materials-science skills; candidates should protect sensitive cards from

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex equipment.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical failure modes.
• Ability to read multiview drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience measuring pressure and flow; interpreting readings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures.
• Repair and maintain machinery per diagrams, manuals and specs using hand and precision tools.
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses.
