Job summary

Shiseido Americas, headquartered in New York City with manufacturing facilities nationwide, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support daily production packaging and manufacturing operations and to keep equipment in proper working order. You will perform set-ups, troubleshoot lines, and carry out preventive maintenance on filling/packaging and bulk manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

7+ years in a GMP environment (cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, food industry, or related consumer goods).
Mechanical background with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and equipment.
Familiarity with packaging filling and assembly equipment; bulk manufacturing experience is a plus.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Setups or changeovers of equipment to support the daily Production schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair production packaging lines to minimize downtime.
Perform preventative or predictive maintenance for production filling/packaging equipment and bulk manufacturing batching.
Support efforts to measure and improve OEE for primary filling and packaging equipment.
Maintain a safe working environment and uphold training and lock-out/tag-out protocols.
Communicate effectively with peers and management to meet company goals.
