Job summary

Shiseido Company, Limited in East Windsor, CT is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to support daily production packaging and manufacturing operations, ensuring equipment is maintained in proper working order. The role requires a high school diploma with trade or apprentice training and 7+ years in a GMP environment, with hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise.

You will perform set-ups and changeovers, troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime, and contribute to safety

Qualifications

• High school graduate with trade or apprenticeship training.
• 7+ years of GMP experience in cosmetics/pharmaceutical/food/consumer goods.
• Mechanical background with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiar with packaging filling and assembly equipment; bulk manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of basic machine shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set-ups or product changeovers to support the daily production schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging lines to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive or predictive maintenance for filling/packaging equipment and bulk manufacturing batching; document for regulatory compliance.
• Support efforts to measure and improve OEE for primary filling and packaging equipment.
• Provide effective communication with peers and management to support company goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment and uphold safety certifications and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
