Job summary

UF Health Gainesville is seeking a facility maintenance technician to support hospital operations on-site. The role requires responding to alarms and emergencies with appropriate actions, and coordinating with departments to perform routine facility work.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least four years in general maintenance with experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electro‑mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance within a hospital setting is preferred.
