Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee the hospital's utility systems and building upkeep. You will service electrical, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, fire alarm, boiler, nurse call, and non-clinical equipment such as beds and stretchers.

Working the 12-hour night shift on-site, you will perform preventative maintenance and ensure safe operation of facilities, supporting uninterrupted patient care at the Naples campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months related experience OR HVAC/R program graduate; 3 years building maintenance preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Utility Systems of the Hospital (DNH or NNH), to include the Electrical System, HVAC System, Domestic Water, Medical Gasses, Plumbing, Tub System, Emergency Power, and Fire Alarm. The Mechanic is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of non-clinical equipment to include beds and stretchers. Additionally, the mechanic is responsible for the upkeep of the building.
