Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine and specialized facility and equipment maintenance. The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective operation and adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of maintenance experience. Trades such as welding, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, instrumentation, or boiler operation are preferred, with boiler license preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized course work beyond high school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance work experience required.
• Trade skills in welding, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, instrumentation, boilers preferred.
• Ability to interpret and understand maintenance manuals in English.
• Boiler operator license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and specialized maintenance of facility and equipment under minimal supervision, maintaining compliance with external regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure safe and cost-effective operation of the facility and equipment in line with regulations and policies.
• Participate in meetings, prepare reports, and maintain thorough records and files as required.
• Utilize equipment suppliers, manuals, and engineering teams to ensure proper and timely repairs.
• Perform predefined preventive maintenance procedures at specific intervals to minimize downtime and cost.
• Provide safe, efficient operations at predefined intervals to minimize downtime and cost.
