Texas Health Frisco is seeking a Maintenance Specialist I to support hospital facilities with routine and specialized repairs. You will work across trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry in a hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years in maintenance, and a license where applicable; healthcare experience is preferred. This full-time day shift offers growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years in commercial/industrial environment.
• 1 year healthcare environment preferred.
• 3–5 years HVAC, Boiler, Pumps, Plumbing, and Electrical experience; license preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Healthcare maintenance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance for hospital facilities using CMMS.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to facility staff on repair and operation of equipment and utilities.
• Participate in hospital and department safety programs and related training.

Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N. Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75033

Work hours: Full-Time, Days, 40 hours weekly, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Rotating on-call will be for a week, and some weekends may be required.

Qualifications - External

Here’s What You Need:

• H.S Diploma or Equivalent required
• 3 Years in commercial or industrial environment required
• 1 Year healthcare environment preferred
• 3-5 years of previous experience HVAC, Boiler, Equipment pumps, plumbing, and electrical experience highly preferred with a license.
• General Maintenance Skills preferred
• DL - Driver License Upon Hire required
• Other Healthcare Maintenance Certification Upon Hire Preferred

What You Will Do

Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required

Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like

Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
