Job summary

SolveNow Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance technician to install, service and repair pumps, motors and associated equipment at our pumping facilities. You will work with 240/480 VAC/DC control systems and SCADA to monitor operations, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role involves reading blueprints, using hand and shop tools, and lifting up to 80 lbs. Attention to detail and independent problem-solving are essential in daily CMMS work orders.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, teachable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Able to solve problems independently.
• Knowledge of installation, repair and maintenance of pumps, motors and mechanical equipment.
• Able to inspect operating conditions to determine repair needs.
• Able to read blueprints, sketches or written and oral instructions.
• Skilled with mechanic's tools and shop equipment for pump station work.
• Knowledge of 240/480 VAC/DC control systems.
• Able to read and interpret SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, overhaul, repair, service and maintain pumps, motors, gas & diesel engines, meters, gauges, compressors, blowers, valves and backchecks.
• Revamp pump stations and maintain 240/480 electrical system control panels.
• Maintain well-motored AC-DC control systems.
• Work with power tools and maintain service records.
• Submit requisitions for equipment and materials, review work orders for priority, clarity and completeness.
• Complete work orders (CMMS) to appropriate personnel.
• Lift up to 80 lbs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, teachable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to solve problems indepedently. Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the installation, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of electrical motors, pumps and mechanical euqipment.
• Ability to make inspections to determine operating conditions and confirm what is needed for repairs to pumping equipment.
• Ability to work from blueprints, pencil sketches, or written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use a variety of mechanic's tools and shop equipment in the installation, repair and maintenance of pump station equipment.
• Knowledge of 240/480 A/C-D/C control systems.
• Ability to read for comprehension and Ability to interpret and utilize SCADA system.

Responsibilities

Install, overhaul, repair, service, and maintain equipment such as (but not limited to) pumps, motors, gas & diesel engines, meters, gauges, compressors, blowers, valves, and backchecks. Revamps pump stations and maintains 240/480 electrical system control panels. Maintains well-motored & A/C-D/C control systems. Works with power tools. Maintains service records. Perform & participate with safe practices of confined space entries. Submits requisitions for equipment and materials, reviews work orders for priority, clarity & completeness. Completes work orders (CMMS) to appropriate personnel. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Performs other related duties as required.
